ENJOY YOUR LIFE!
(The Earth Is Filled With God’s Goodness)

TO THE BIBLE: Psalm 24:1-2
“The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the waters.”

LET’S TALK
In Galatians 3:29, the Bible tells us that since we belong to Christ, then we’re Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to God’s promise. Our opening verse shows us that the earth belongs to the Lord, and since we’re heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17), then it means the earth belongs to us too! The Word says: “…In fact, everything is yours, including the world, life, death, the present, and the future. Everything belongs to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God” (1 Corinthians 3:21-23 CEV). The world belongs to you; it’s yours to enjoy!

Now, Psalm 33:5 says “…The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.” This is awesome! In spite of the terrible things we hear happening in the world, the earth is still full of God’s goodness! Notice it doesn’t say, “The earth has God’s goodness,” but that it’s “…full of the goodness of the Lord.” The goodness of God in the earth is enough for everyone to enjoy. Jesus emphasised this when He said: “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)” (John 10:10 AMP). He didn’t just come for us to have life, but that we may enjoy it also.

Learn to enjoy what God has given you. If you don’t enjoy them, you can’t really appreciate them, and therefore, can’t be truly thankful. Enjoy the clothes you wear, the food you eat, and the family and friends you have! Laugh more, be happy, and celebrate God’s goodness in your life.

GO DEEPER
Psalm 24:1-2 NIV The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.

Ecclesiastes 2:24 Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that his soul should enjoy good in his labor. This also, I saw, was from the hand of God.

1 Timothy 6:17 Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

SPEAK
The Lord has made my life beautiful; I enjoy success, prosperity and abundance. I’m walking in favour; I know who I am. Hallelujah!
